Barcelona Architecture Weeks 2024: Out & About EUmies Awards

We would also like to remind you of our upcoming guided tours of the Social Housing 1737 in Gavà, on May 14, and the Gabriel García Màrquez Library in Barcelona, on May 15, both part of the Out & About program to discover the shortlisted projects for the 2024 EUmies Awards.

About Barcelona Architecture Weeks

Since its first edition in 2017, the Setmanes d’Arquitectura, organized by the Barcelona City Council and the Fundació Mies van der Rohe, have established themselves as an initiative open to the participation of all entities committed to the dissemination of architecture in the city with the aim of celebrating and experiencing architecture and bringing its values closer to society.

This year, it celebrates its most extensive edition, which will run from May 14 to June 28, with the purpose of sharing and reflecting on how the built city has adapted to today’s challenges -the Sustainable Development Goals 2030-, and with an eye on the horizon of the World Capital of Architecture Barcelona 2026.

Throughout seven weeks, architecture takes center stage with a varied program of activities aimed at all audiences, such as exhibitions, conferences, workshops, or guided tours, which spread across all districts of the city.
